Youth Volunteers - For safety reasons, children under the age of 16 are not allowed to volunteer on an active construction site. Teenagers ages 14-15 are only allowed to volunteer at the ReStore and on landscaping projects and must have 1 to 1 supervision from an adult. We require one adult crew leader for every group of four 16-18 year-olds. All high school groups, even if their volunteers are 18 years old, will need to have at least one adult for every four students. Individual 18-year-old volunteers do not need supervision, but they cannot act as supervisors for younger people. Adult Supervisors need to be 21 years or older.
